If you are using OASIS in a team of developers, you would probably like to be informed when other developers make checkins to the repository.

This task can be (more or less easily) achieved with the post-commit-hooks on the server.

The import of queries wich where originally exported from a newer version of Access (>= Access 2007) you will get errors which will not be logged.

With version 2.9.1 this will not automatically be fixed but an entry will be written in tle logfile.

With the new version 2.9 you can separate structure and data on table export.

And in the import dialog, you can no longer only save a configuration. A saved configuration can also be loaded or deleted.

With version 2.8.14 the description of the objects will no be exported in a separate file and can be put under version control.

For tables, the row height in datasheet view and the subdatasheet name will now be exported.

With version 2.8.15 you can select the table properties to be exported by editing the file <%appdata%\oasis_svn.cfg>

With version 2.8.10 you can save the current selection in the import dialog with the key CTRL+S.

Automatic builds will use the saved file so only the desired objects will be imported.

To optimize the development process with svn there are two new commands in the context menu of the objects.

With it you can delete or rename an object and these changes will also be executed on the files of your working copy. So changes will be commited to your repository too.

Version 2.8.8 introduces two new shortcuts

• CTRL+M inverts the selection on all pages
  
• CTRL+N inverts the selection on the current page
  

With version 2.7 OASIS-SVN supports automated creation of database projects.
Now it's possible to realize "nightly-builds" by command line parameters.

With the new version 2.4, the new repository-wizard is introduced.

With this wizard users will get a working repository with just a few clicks.

This feature is primary dedicated to subversions newbies to get a quick acess to versioning with subversion and access.

The current version 2.3.4.156 fixes a bug with OASIS-SVN running in Access 2007.

The toolbar-buttons were not shown as default so that there was no way to access the OASIS functionality.

Now the buttons are shown by default.

With Version 2.3, OASIS-SVN supports different languages for the user-interface.

You can select your prefered language in the settings-dialog.

By now, english and german is supported - i will add more languages if needed.

Currently, i'm working on a multilanguage-version of OASIS-SVN.

Since release 103, the full version of OASIS-SVN offers an auto-update-mechanism to automatically load newer versions through the internet.

In order to be able to use this procedure, the version-check must be activated and an active internet-connection must be available.

If this conditions are given, OASIS-SVN can update itself over the internet.

From given cause I would like to point out here again that the ex and import of tables exhibit some restrictions.

Therefore i recommend you to store an empty (except of the tables) database (if necessary packed) in your repository.

Export and import of tables with OASIS-SVN is only meant for smaller lookup-tables, because recreating tables by code has some restrictions by Access itself.
